Thursday and Friday, August 28-29, 2008 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Wear comfortable, outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes.
Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on, a bag lunch and fruit or a treat to share.
We have sacred spring water (BYO Water container) and sacred bushes nearby.
Please RSVP to tpstar@mninter.net so we have some idea about numbers.
Directions: Coldwater Spring is located immediately south of Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Driving from Highway 55 (between Interstate-94 and state highway 62-Crosstown), turn east (toward the Mississippi) at 54th Street. Take an immediate right (south) and drive about 1/2 mile down the frontage road, past the parking meters, through the cul-de-dac, past the Coldwater Spring sign and past the abandoned aqua brick graffiti-ed building. Follow the turns, you'll see the great willow tree beside Coldwater reservoir.
See www.FriendsofColdwater.org about the site, last natural spring in Hennepin County flowing at 90-thousand gallons a day.
