Activist's Solstice - Outside - Coldwater Spring
Looking for some activist magic this season? Worn down from a long year of meetings and protests... oh my?
Join us as we celebrate the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and the change from lengthening night to lengthening day.
We'll start in the dark at 4:30 p.m. and together co-create a ritual for all present. All are welcome.
When: Sunday, Dec. 21
- Gather and Ritual planning at 4:30 p.m.
- Solstice celebration at 5 p.m.
Where: Coldwater spring (ancient sacred spring) *Dress for the weather - we'll be outside.*
Bring: Yourself and anything you would like to contribute to our time together.
Pets that get along with other beings are welcome, but remember it will be cold and they will need to be on a leash.
Directions to Coldwater Spring: From Hwy 55/Hiawatha in south Minneapolis, turn East (toward the Mississippi) at 54th St., take an immediate right South) ½-mile down the frontage road, drive through the cul-de-sac & the gates, follow the road, past the buildings until you see a big willow tree.
