Postville, IA was the scene of one of the largest raids in the country's
history. Approximately 300 people were arrested on March 10th, 2008 as they
worked at the Agriprocessors, Inc. meat packing plant. Nine months later, the
conditions for the people affected have gotten worse. Some await court
dates, can't work and have ankles bracelets, others speak of bad treatment
they received in the jails. Families were separated leaving their children
or spouses without support. This is a true human tragedy! YOUR HELP IS
NEEDED URGENTLY!! Please donate: White rice, dry beans, canned corn, green
beans or juices, Pampers, sizes 4-6, Medicines for children or adults,
Tylenol, etc., Telephone calling cards for Guatemala or Mexico, &/or Copy
paper or other office supplies.
