FBI Informant Outed in Iowa

Jason Munford/Valvilis Cormaeril was outed in Iowa City, eventually admitted his role as an informant and was recently the subject of 3 media articles.

He showed up at a non-profit business in Washington State, and has been confirmed through pictures and personal perusal to be the same person pictured above.  Same name, same essential mode of operation.

In Mid-April, he became active in our area close on the heels of a proposal to do a direct action at a Naval base nearby.  He's been here ever since.  He's now reached a position of discretionary authority in a small youth services organization here, and has NOT been open about his past involvement with Law Enforcement / FBI snitching.  He still associates with Anarchists.  We're working on documenting his activities here and the board of the organization is working on confronting him.  Our location will be revealed once that happens.

My own hunch is that his story about being Air Force MP is true, just the C/O status is not.  If that is true, 2010 is the likely end of his first 6-year hitch.  He's probably working for the military rather than FBI this time.  If that is true, it is the second time our area has seen confirmed military spy involvement.  DOJ does not tend to spend the big bucks placing folks in infrastucture positions, that sounds more like long term thinking (military is known for that) and bottomless budget.

he was paid. He did try to downplay his role and tried to say there was another informant, and that his true intentions were to act as some type of secret agent and find out who the other one was. We never found any evidence that there was someone else. All the evidence, all the quotes attributed, everything pointed solely and directly to Val/Jason.  tax relief
