RNC LIVE: download the new zine about old news
Proudly presenting the next addition to every summit-hopper's, compulsive-browser-refresher's, and obsessive county sheriff's zine library:

RNC LIVE:
all the live updates from the 2008 Republican National Convention resistance
from Twin Cities Indymedia*
*(as in, I copied and pasted them from tc.indymedia.org into a cool-looking zine. Mr. Bob Fletcher, please file in your library under "haloka," not "TCIMC.")
We TCIMC-ers have been getting nagged for quite a while about producing an archive of all our livewire reports during the convention. Well, here it is! A little commentary, some pix from IMCistas, and some articles submitted to and written by TCIMC during the convention are also included in this nifty little booklet. True authorship belongs to the dozens of IMC reporters and activists who contributed news and updates throughout the convention, and to those who gave them something to report on.
'Cause all you want to do in 2009 is re-live that week, right? Read this zine and find out what you missed - or, do what I'm going to do and stuff it away until 2012 - and next year let's do something else for crying out loud.
For an end to this madness,
haloka

Very nice. One suggestion
Very nice. One suggestion though. Please learn how to spell Minnesota before you put out publications in the future. Or, try editing your work. It might help people take you seriously. That is the worst attempt I've ever seen.
teaching moment
hey,
for anybody wondering - as i understand it, that spelling is one way that the word was spelled before the USA came along and turned it into "minnesota." very roughly, in dakota "mni" can be translated as water, and "sota" as sky-tinted or cloudy, hence "mnisota" = "sky-tinted water." i like fucking with the oppressor's language from time to time, so occasionally i spell it like that and make people think when they wonder why.
