Bogus City of STP RNC Forum

The RNC Public Review Safety Commission will hold a public forum from 5
to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center in St. Paul
to hear about individual experiences during the Sept. 1-4 Republican
National Convention.

Led by former U.S. Attorney Thomas Heffelfinger and former Assistant
U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger, the commission is conducting an independent
review of law enforcement planning and tactics during the convention.

The seven-member commission will listen to two- to three-minute
statements from community members about their RNC experiences. The
commission might ask participants questions after their statements, and
will solicit ideas for future events.

Written comments will also be accepted through Nov. 14 — send e-mails to
Lucie Passus at lucie.passus@stpaul.gov.

The full committee consists of Heffelfinger, Luger, Barry Feld, Robert
Hernz, Mary Ann Vukelich, George Latimer and Linda White.

The community center is at 270 N. Kent St.
