Bike Scavenger Hunt Explosion 2008!

Saturday, October 11th 11am-3pm

A bike scavenger hunt that will lead you to the best radical history
spots, bizarre places, and more! With prizes!

Start preparing the loyalty tests and blood oaths! Yes, it's time to
choose your teammates. You can have up to four people on your team,
but only one digital camera. Violators will be prosecuted under the
Bike Scavenger Freedom Act, subclause 19.756.

Goal: To score the most points and win a coveted prize!

How you do it:

Everyone will get a list of all the rhyming clues. Some will be easy,
some will be sorta hard, and then, of course, some will be very hard!
For example, one spot might obviously be Arise ("Homeless punks can
use the phone here for free, but only one of the toilets will flush
your pee") whereas something else might be an older radical history
site or just a bizarre location.

You get all the clues right away, and they aren't connected. In other
words, you don't need to go in a certain order. However, the goal is
to get to as many as possible, so it would be wise to strategize!

Once you find a spot, there will be a (ridiculous) identifying marker.
If you're the first team there, grab the marker and earn a special
prize! If the marker's already gone, all you need to do is take a
quick photo to prove that you made it, and then you're off to the next
stop!

One location=1 point. The top three teams win exciting prizes that
have been vetted by leading Midwestern prizologists!
