Free-market capitalism has plunged the world into the deepest economic crisis since the Great Depression. The solution of our politicians has been to hand over trillions of dollars to Wall Street bankers and corporate elites at AIG and elsewhere, while millions in the U.S. and across the globe face the loss of their jobs and homes. There is a growing discussion in the media and throughout society about the failure of capitalism, and the re-emergence of the S-word: socialism.

Join us for the Socialist Minnesota conference, hosted by Socialist Alternative, for panels, workshops, and discussions on these issues and how we can build a fight back against corporate power and for a decent future for workers and youth. Our speakers include union activists, a professor from the U of M, and a labor historian, so check it out!
