Please come join me for a presentation and discussion on the history and
goals of Gilbert Shoes - a community center in North Philadelphia, as well
as struggles in Philly against police brutality, displacement,
gentrification, and budget cuts.

This is an inspiring project that has presented a unique model of community
organizing that I would love to discuss with folks here in Minneapolis.
Part of the presentation will focus on their reactions to police
oppression and raids on the center.  There is much to learn.  Please come.
