EWOK! Movie Night July 21

Join EWOK! for an outdoor potluck and all-VHS movie night. We'll screen a
Dateline special on Mark W. Sands, as well as some treasures from the Radical
Time Vault!

Mark Warren Sands is not your typical 'eco terrorist'.

He was a former public relations and marketing executive, a middle
class,	middleaged, churchgoing man, living in the suburbs. Starting in
April of 2000, he went on the attack against residential sprawl, burning
down eight homes in	an effort to	save the Phoenix Mountain Preserves.
He wrote communiques to the media under the banner, "Coalition to Save the
Preserves," claiming responsibility for the actions.

Surprisingly, the media did	not brand him an ecoterrorist, and ran
fairly	sympathetic articles as the	case unfolded. Come find out what
made him light the fuse.

When: Tuesday, 7/21
potluck at 8pm
movie at sunset

Where: Sisters' Camelot, 2657 32nd Ave S, Mpls outside
