 International Bike Development Benefit and Civia Lorning Bike Release

This event is a benefit supporting three international bike development organizations, CACITA, World Bike Relief and Project Rwanda. 100% of the proceeds goes to these three events while you are enjoying good music wine and hor' dourves along with the chance to win the new Civia Lorning commuter bike. 

The event is $20 pre sale or at the door. There will be live music, presentations by the tabling groups and information on how you can get involved. 

World Bike Relief - The mission of World Bicycle Relief is to provide access to independence and livelihood through The Power of Bicycles. World Bicycle Relief specializes in large-scale, comprehensive bicycle programs by providing supply chain management, technical knowledge and logistics expertise to poverty relief and disaster assistance initiatives.

Project Rwanda - We will have a coffee bike and videos from the project. details are at projectrwanda.org. Project Rwanda is committed to furthering the economic development of Rwanda through initiatives based on the bicycle as a tool and symbol of hope. Their goal is use the bike to help boost the Rwandan economy as well as re-brand Rwanda as a beautiful and safe place.

CACITA - A community center located in Oaxaca Mexico designed to build and engineer solar and bike- powered tools and machinery and other sustainable technologies.They are in need of financial support to help them buy the land next to where they are located now. With this new space, nearly doubling what they have now, they will be able to build a house with rooms for volunteers to stay and more workshop space for their bike workshops and a larger home base for all their organizing needs!
