What did you miss in 2010?

It's getting to be that time of year for reflection upon the last 12 months.  Locally, 2010 was a year of low and highs: social movement institutions like Arise Bookstore and Bedlam Theatre lost their spaces, but now a new queer community center has opened and a new infoshop and event space is in the works.  We know about the anti-war and anti-authoritarian activists who have faced repression this year--now let's look back on some other struggles that have blossomed: for economic justice, immigrant rights, student-centered education, and much more.

What do you remember most?  What can we build upon in 2011?

About the RNC 8 Event Series:

Help us make this a time of movement building and solidarity!

Join the RNC 8 Defense Committee and an array of community organizations for six events coinciding with the trial of the final four RNC 8 defendants. Events will begin with dinner and a brief update on the trial, followed by different content each week. Proceeds will be donated to rotating political projects.

Please note that the event series will proceed even though the trial is not.
