Mobile CCTV camera at Stop FBI repression rally.  One of our Twin Cities Indymedia volunteers noticed that a mobile CCTV camera was across the street from the January 25th solidarity rally at the Federal Courthouse building.  She walked by the very next day the camera was gone as seen in this photo comparison. National Call-in Day this Thursday.  If winter weather, work or school keeps you indoors and unable to attend as many events or rallies as you like, this Thursday February 3rd, the Bradley Manning Support Network is requesting everyone contact President Obama to voice their concerns about Bradley Manning's treatment in custody. Mujeres en Liderazgo on KFAI this Sunday.  The women from Mujeres en Liderazgo will be on KFAI 90.3 FM on The Wave. The Wave is broadcasted on Sunday, February 6 from 10-11 am. They plan to talk about the program, their experiences in it and the work that they're doing in their communities.  The broadcast will be in Spanish. 

MN Break the Bonds Campaign. MN BBC sent out a letter this week to the Minnesota State Board of Investment demanding that the State of Minnesota divest from Israel Bonds. For more details, click here to read a copy of their press release.

No DNC 2012 in Minneapolis. If you haven't heard the good news (for Minneapolis), the 2012 Democratic National Convention is staying far away from our area. Charlotte, NC "won" the bid - and with the 2012 RNC already announced for Tampa, FL, the expected police riots and NSSE security theater has moved South for 2012.
