Protesters in Saint Paul march to the capitol as part of the National Day of local anti-war protest's
March 19, 2011: Over the past 7 years we have seen the United States go to war with Iraq, and Afghanistan. As well as the two wars we are already involved in the United States also is sending aid to Israel. On March 19th, 2011 the Anti-War Committee and Women Against Military Madness (also known as WAMM) planned a protest/march in Saint Paul to the capital to raise awarness about the ongoing struggles around the world that the United States and other nations are currently involved in.

Protest in Saint Paul
After a long cold winter the somewhat cold day was a perfect setting for a protest/march that brought a good turnout. The day was full of many great speeches from many inspiring individuals and with all of the problems currently going on in the world it brought a lot of topics to talk about that the speakers and many of the portesters were talking about. Many thanks to The Anti-War Committee and WAMM for throwing an amazing event and I look forward to doing more stories and reports on the event's the organizations throw.
