Call for Contributors to “Recipes for Radicals,” the Arise! Collective's New Community Project and Fundraiser

Dear friends, allies and comrades,

Last year, the Arise! Books and Resources Collective produced a guidebook to the Twin Cities called the Arise! Atlas. We created hand-drawn maps of the cities, drew art for the cover and pages, and plotted points of interest to activists. Many of the points came from our online version, which is an interactive Google map on which people plot their own points and tell others what makes them so great.

** Our Free Computer Lab is Now Open! **

After months of talking about it, the Arise! Tech and Anti-Tech Committees have gotten down to work, and the result is four free computers in the back of the store for you to use! We have a PC and three Macs, all but one of which are connected to the internets. And they all use 100% free and open source software! We intend to hook up a printer, too.

Aftershock is for aftershocked activists and their allies, as well as for people and organizations that practice high-risk activism. It includes practical tips for individuals, organizations, and communities, as well as information about how traumatic events affect our bodies and abilities.
