left a strong warning in Washington State this week, spray-painting a message on industrial
buildings in the City of Maltby.

The message, left specifically for the Master Builder's Association and Andy Skotdal, owner of
Everett's KRKO-AM 1380 radio station, stated:

G20 Resistance Dispatch #1: "Nobody Wants it Here"

Here in the Steel City, "nobody wants it here," said one of our hosts of the G20, and we've yet to refute his conclusion.  While out-of-town activists pour into the city to supplement the opposition at home, many residents with the desire privilege to be able to escape the police siege are going the opposite direction.  Many of those who are staying here aren't quite sure what to expect.

Direct Action Network - Join the Struggle

As we resist our evictions and continue fighting powerful banks like Wells Fargo, the Minnesota Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign is calling on all of those who support our struggle to join the Direct Action Network. Our community is growing stronger now that we're getting organized, but we still need a lot of support from our friends and supporters.

Where There's Smoke: Anarchism After the RNC

Where there's smoke....
Anarchism after the RNC

I.
We've got the numbers, they've got the guns..
Our chants reverberated under the St. Paul skyway. The 2008 RNC protests were underway, the culmination of two years of anarchist/anti-authoritarian organizing materializing before our eyes. For once, we were many, and they were few... or maybe not. With 3500 cops and an uncounted number of National Guardsmen and Secret Service agents on the streets, this time they had both the guns and the numbers.

Statement of Support for the Shutdown of ICE Headquarters

Opposition to War & Occupation stands in solidarity with those taking direct action to shut down the Immigration & Customs Enforcement headquarters in Bloomington today. For far too long ICE has been allowed to conduct violent raids of homes and businesses in Minnesota, spontaneously detaining and deporting undocumented workers, and leaving their children without care. For far too long the pursuit of stability across borders has been criminalized and those already at risk in the system are forced to endure protracted imprisonment and state violence.
