DNC in Denver

From a citizen of Denver, Thank you to all who came to town this past week.

Perhaps what you brought to town is most noticeable in its absence now that people have moved on. Now its noticeable the amount of energy and enthusiasm that was in town last week. The numbers are not what I'd have hoped. I can still dream of what Invesco Field would have looked like surrounded by a million or more citizens demanding and end to the wars. But, the energy and the commitment of those who came was amazing. Thanks for coming.

Millions believe Barack Obama is the anti-war/anti-Bush candidate. In reality, Obama is proving to be the candidate most effective at getting all-too-many “leaders” of the anti-war movement to shut up and even urge others to go along with wars for empire.

In the name of getting Obama elected, the anti-war movement is being demobilized, and firm opposition to the so-called “war on terror” is being silenced.

Obama Is Hot, Empire is Not!

On Thursday June 4th Barack Obama visited Saint Paul Minnesota to deliver a message to the people. While this was going on, Anarchists were delivering a message of their own. An action group calling themselves "Obama is hot, empire is not" released the following letter:

Dearest Barack,

Embarrassing though it is, we have to admit that we have a crush on you.
Alas, our love for you is bitter-sweet! While your speeches and charisma
are enough to make anyone swoon, your winning smile just isn't enough to
