Immigrant Rights

Do You Have Your Papers?

"Self Deportation" is a code word making life very difficult by requiring papers for everything, with the intent that undocumented people will leave.

Of course, increasing government bureaucracy has unintended consequences - as states like Alabama are finding out. Legal immigrants - including the head of a car dealership - have already been arrested.

How long before US citizens get arrested or deported for being in the wrong place at the wrong time without their "papers"?

How much longer we will take the steady erosion of our freedoms?
