Calling All RNC 8 Supporters: We Need Your Help!

You were with us when the prosecutor dropped the terrorism enhancement charges. You were with us when the judge granted the joint trial. You were with us as the defendants and their lawyers fought in court to have the charges thrown out. And you were with us when the prosecutor completely dropped the charges against Eryn, Luce and Monica.

Now we need you to be with us as Garrett, Max, Nathanael and Rob go to trial.

During the upcoming trial, we’ll have numerous volunteer needs. Here are just a few:

Final Pre-Trial, Circus Rally, Event Series and Other Updates on the RNC 8

Garrett Fitzgerald, Max Specktor, Nathanael Secor and Rob Czernik of the RNC 8

September 22 marked the final pre-trial hearing for the remaining four defendants of the RNC 8. Important details such as the jury selection process, outstanding issues with the evidence in the case and lists of witnesses and exhibits, the table arrangements for the defendants and defense attorneys during trial and other matters were all discussed.

Charges Against Three RNC 8 Defendants are Dropped!

From the RNC 8 Defense Committee: The RNC 8 received some surprising news Thursday afternoon - charges against Luce Guillen-Givins, Monica Bicking and Eryn Trimmer have been dropped!

The fact that charges have been dismissed against these three members of what Ramsey County has for two years labeled a “criminal enterprise” exposes the political motivations behind this case.  Although today’s news is an amazing development, charges against four of the eight defendants still remain and must continue to be fought with renewed strength.

The RNC 8’s pre-trial hearing that was canceled earlier this month has been reset for Wednesday, September 22 at 9am in room 131-B of the Ramsey County Courthouse.  Expected to be the final hearing before trial is expected to begin on October 25 for Garrett, Nathanael, Max and Rob, the hearing will sort out logistical issues such as courtroom arrangement, jury strikes, and more.

The RNC 8’s pre-trial hearing that was canceled last week has been reset for Wednesday, September 22 at 9am.  Expected to be the final hearing before trial begins on October 25, the hearing will sort out logistical issues such as courtroom arrangement, jury strikes, and more.

Now over two years since the 2008 RNC, show that we haven’t forgotten.  Please join us in court to help demonstrate the support the defendants will have during the upcoming trial.
