There will be a free screening of Burning the Future: Coal in America, written and directed by David Novack. The documentary examines coal from cradle to grave, taking a look at its extraction through brutal mountaintop removal and the pollution caused by coal-fired electrical generation and its impacts on our air, soil, water and climate. It is also a story of struggle between the coal industry and the residents of West Virginia, who are trying to save their mountains, forests, streams and the hollows in which many families have lived for generations, | 28

The University is setting up a website asking students to turn snitch, and the police and corporate media are - just like after the RNC - acting as if minor property damage justifies as full-on violent police attack of our neighbors and friends. | 1
