As a Red Lake tribal member and bearer of the pipe given by her father, a medicine man, she preserved the culture of her students at Heart of the Earth school in South Minneapolis.

Thursday, July 9th at 1:30 PM, Dave Mahoney will be sentenced by Judge Flynn at the Ramsey County Courthouse, 15 W Kellogg Boulevard, St. Paul.  

There will almost certainly be jail time involved, and Dave will be taken into custody at the conclusion of the hearing.  Come to support him and all targets of state repression!

Say no to Racism and Nazis! On July 11 a group of racists will gather in Austin to call for the deportation of immigrants, Blacks, Asians, Latinos, homosexuals and Jews.

Their event is set for 2 p.m. in front of the Mower County courthouse. This group identifies itself as Nazis and calls itself the National Socialist Movement. Join with us in a counterprotest and show them they are not welcome in our community. We will stand up and show that no human is illegal, immigrant rights are workers rights, and we oppose racism in our community.
