The RNC 8 are eight activists facing felony conspiracy charges as a result of organizing they did around protests against the Republican National Convention in Saint Paul last year. These people face prison time for exercising their first amendment rights and are now involved in a legal process that is moving at a shamefully slow pace. These eight lives (along with the lives of their many supporters) have been focused on legal defense and building community support for more than a year.
