K12 Social Justice Curriculum Fair to be Held at South High School

Inspired by the fair of the same name put on by Teachers for Social Justice in Chicago, the Twin Cities Social Justice Curriculum Fair will be a chance for local K-12 teachers, education workers, and allies to come together for a day of discussions, resource sharing, workshops, and socializing.

Drawing upon years of experience and familiarity with the everyday challenges that increasingly deform education, the conference will be a day to inspire, add resources to your tool basket, people to your network, and build solidarity with one another. Workshops will feature exciting work in a variety of settings, grade levels, and topic areas. Group discussions will help problem solve individual barriers to creating social justice outcomes and address the big picture problems facing education today.

Registration is free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Register to attend or host a workshop on our website: https://sites.google.com/a/umn.edu/social-justice/home
